Ted Easler has over 40 years experience in marketing and sales. Ted began his career in insurance sales in 1972 and founded Group Benefit Systems, Inc. in 1986. He has served repeatedly as a member of the Agency Advisory Council for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of SC and as a member of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of SC President Honor Council, as well as, the United Healthcare President Honor Council. He is a current member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and a member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Ted is a licensed agent for Accident, Life, and Health.
Jan Easler has 23 years experience in benefit compliance, administration, and sales. Jan joined Group Benefit Systems, Inc. in February 1987 and has had extensive training in benefit design, COBRA compliance, HIPAA compliance, and implementation of Section 125 plans. She has served on the Agency Advisory Council for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of SC and has served on the President Honor Council for Blue Choice Healthcare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of SC. She has, also, served on the Agent Advisory Council for United Healthcare, and is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Jan is a licensed agent for Life, Accident, and Health.
Sam Gibson has over 40 years of experience in the life, health, and accident industry. Sam joined Group Benefit Systems in 1988 as a marketing representative. Prior to then, Sam worked extensively in the life insurance sector developing substantial sales, customer service, and presentation skills. Sam currently services Columbia and the surrounding area. Sam is a licensed agent for Life, Accident, and Health.
Dan O’Connell has over 38 years experience in insurance sales. Dan earned his CLU, Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1975 and has received numerous industry awards. Dan has an extensive background in helping clients with their Medicare options, annuities, long term care insurance and life insurance. Dan has been heavily involved with numerous civic and educational organizations including Wofford College, The first Tee of Spartanburg, and the Spartanburg YMCA. Regina Lewis has over 20 years experience in contracts and administration. Regina started her insurance career in 1987 at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of South Carolina in Columbia. At Blue Cross, Regina originally worked with the implementation of government contracts. In 1990, Regina transferred to the marketing department and was trained in administration, marketing, and service. Regina joined Group Benefit Systems, Inc. in 1995 where she has expanded her marketing and service experience. Member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. Regina is a licensed agent for Life, Accident, and Health.
Robin McAbee has over 20 years experience in administration. Robin join Group Benefit Systems, Inc. in 1996 and has extensive knowledge and experience in administrative and customer service. Robin has been vital to the success of Group Benefit Systems, Inc. While she has had many positions here at Group Benefits, Robin currently handles group administration, claims, and services.
Larry Hart has over 16 years experience in the benefits arena. Larry has worked with several major carriers in the major group and national account departments, including Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Allstate, and Cigna. He has won numerous sales achievement awards. Larry is a licensed agent for Life, Accident, and Health.
Holly Ferguson moved to Spartanburg, SC in 1991. She has over 20 years of Administration, Customer Service, and Human Resources experience. In addition she has 13 years of Long Term Care experience. At Group Benefits, Holly handles Claims, Customer Service, and Group Administration and Renewals. Holly is a licensed agent for Life, Accident, and Health.
